Additional usage rights may be negotiated and documented in writing if required.
6. Cancellations and refunds
1. Cancellation of collaborative projects

Studio Morilly takes all complaints seriously and will respond within 7 days of receiving the complaint.
Where possible, a suitable solution will be offered, such as a correction, replacement, or refund. The aim is to resolve complaints as quickly and fairly as possible.
Complaints should be submitted within 7 days of receiving the product or discovering the issue. Complaints submitted after this period may still be considered, but Studio Morilly is not obliged to do so.
8. Liability
Studio Morilly strives to provide all products and services with due care and in accordance with the agreed specifications.
Should an error, defect, or discrepancy occur, Studio Morilly shall only be liable for direct damages resulting directly from such error or defect, and only where such damage is caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
9.1 Errors or deficiencies in products or services
If an error is identified in a product or service provided by Studio Morilly, reasonable efforts will be made to correct the issue.
This may include correcting the work, providing a replacement product, or issuing a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.

Commissions (Ko-Fi)
1. General
Studio Morilly creates personalised digital illustrations (commissions) based on reference images and information provided by the client.
If the commission is bought through Ko-fi, the client automatically agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. The illustration process
After placing and paying for an order, the client will receive an email containing a link to an intake form. The form will request:
- Clear reference images
- Any additional requests or preferences
- Specific details (such as accessories, mood, or colour preferences)
- Confirmation that the client agrees to these terms and conditions
Work on the illustration will only begin once all required information has been submitted.
The average turnaround time is 1–3 weeks, unless otherwise stated. As I work as an illustrator alongside my regular employment, I maintain a generous delivery timeframe to ensure each commission receives the attention it deserves.
3. Feedback and revisions
Each commission includes one revision round as standard. This revision round takes place during the sketch phase.
During this stage, the client may request adjustments such as:
- Minor colour changes
- Small detail adjustments
- Corrections to poses or expressions
These revisions are intended to refine the existing design. Major changes or complete redraws of all or part of the illustration are not included.
Additional revision rounds can be purchased for €10 each.
4. Delivery
The final illustration will be delivered digitally in JPEG or PNG format, including:
- A version with a simple or white background
- A version with a transparent background
Unless otherwise agreed.
Examples of simple backgrounds include solid colours, gradients, blurred photographic backgrounds, or small decorative details.
5. Submission of reference material and intake form
To begin work on a commission, the client must complete the intake form and provide all required reference material in a timely manner.
If the form has not been completed within 7 days of placing the order, the client will receive a first reminder.
After 12 days, a second and final reminder will be sent.
If no information has been received after 14 days, the order will be automatically cancelled. In this case, 20% of the purchase price will be retained to cover administration, communication, and reservation costs. The remaining amount will be refunded through Ko-fi, PayPal, or Stripe.
Studio Morilly is not responsible for delays caused by late or incomplete submission of information or reference materials.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Commissions bought through Ko-Fi are processed directly through Ko-fi using PayPal or Stripe.
As Ko-fi does not issue refunds on behalf of creators, any refunds must be processed by Studio Morilly through the Ko-fi dashboard or directly through PayPal or Stripe.
Commissions by request can be payed by any discussed payment method.
Cancellation by the Client
The client may cancel a commission under the following conditions:
Before work has started
- 100% refund
During the sketch phase
- 75% refund of the purchase price
During the line art phase
- 50% refund of the purchase price
During or after the colouring phase
- No refund is available, as the majority of the work has already been completed.
Cancellation by Studio Morilly
Studio Morilly reserves the right to cancel a commission for personal, professional, or behavioural reasons.
If Studio Morilly cancels the commission:
Before work has started
- 100% refund
After work has started
- A minimum refund of 75%, depending on the amount of work completed
In cases of inappropriate, disrespectful, or abusive behaviour, Studio Morilly reserves the right to terminate the collaboration immediately. In such circumstances, a partial or full refund may be refused depending on the amount of work already completed.
7. Copyright and usage rights
The copyright of all commissioned artwork remains with Studio Morilly at all times.
The client receives a personal use licence, which allows the illustration to be used for:
- Personal use
- Social media sharing (with credit where possible)
- Printing for personal use
Commercial use is not permitted unless agreed upon in writing beforehand.
Studio Morilly reserves the right to display commissioned artwork in portfolios, on the website, and for promotional purposes unless the client explicitly objects in writing before the commission begins.
