1. General information

2. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, agreements, and deliveries from Studio Morilly, including but not limited to the creation of illustrations, graphic design, fulfilling commissions, and the sale of physical and digital products from our product lines. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, by using our services or placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.
3. Services and Products
Studio Morilly offers creative services and products, including custom illustrations (commissions), and the sale of physical and digital products. All assignments are carried out in consultation, with specific wishes being discussed in advance. Studio Morilly reserves the right to refuse assignments that do not align with our artistic style or ethical values. Furthermore, Studio Morilly reserves the right to cancel an assignment for any reason.
4. Prices and Payments
1. Payments in the Webshop
All prices in the Studio Morilly webshop are in euros and include VAT and transaction fees, unless otherwise indicated. Available payment methods include iDEAL, PayPal, and other common payment methods.
2. Payments for Commissions
For all custom illustrations and assignments (commissions), payment must be made in advance. This can only be done via iDEAL or PayPal. The commission is only reserved and the assignment will be started after payment has been received.
3. Payments for Other Clients
For clients who collaborate with Studio Morilly on graphic or illustrative assignments and similar projects, we work on an invoice basis. This means you will receive an invoice for the assignment, which must be paid within the agreed-upon timeframe.
5. Delivery
Delivery of Products
Physical products such as prints and merchandise will be shipped within the number of business days indicated with the product. Shipping times may vary depending on the circumstances. For more information on this, please read our shipping policy.
Delivery of Services
Orders such as illustrations and graphic designs will be delivered as soon as possible after payment (if required in advance) and in consultation with the client. Delivery times may vary depending on the order, but deadlines can always be discussed in consultation.
6. Rights
All rights to illustrations, designs, and other creative works created by Studio Morilly remain the property of Jenita Lentink (Studio Morilly), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients may only use the received works for the agreed-upon purpose, such as personal use, print, or as a digital image. Commercial use, reproduction, modification, or further distribution are not permitted without prior written permission from Studio Morilly.
If desired, agreements regarding extended usage rights can be made and recorded in writing.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
1. Cancellation of Orders
For graphic design orders such as illustrations and designs, cancellation is possible on behalf of the customer, but a fee will be charged depending on the amount of work already completed at the time of cancellation. This fee is determined reasonably and depends on the progress of the order.
2. Cancellation of Items from the Webshop
If a customer wishes to cancel an order from the webshop before it has been shipped, this is free of charge. If an order has already been shipped, the customer can return it in accordance with Studio Morilly's returns policy. In that case, the purchase price will be refunded as soon as possible via the original payment method, provided the products are undamaged and unused.
Refunds for Discrepancies or Damaged Products
In cases where a customer receives an order that is damaged or the order has not been completed as agreed, Studio Morilly will issue a refund via the original payment method.
8. Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint about a Studio Morilly product or service, you can submit it to us in writing at studiomorilly@gmail.com or via the contact form on the website. Studio Morilly handles all complaints carefully and will respond to your complaint within 14 days of receipt.
If possible, Studio Morilly will offer an appropriate solution, such as an adjustment, replacement, or refund. Our goal is to handle complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Commissions (Ko-Fi)
1. General
Studio Morilly creates personalized digital illustrations based on reference images and client requests.
By placing an order via Ko-fi or the website, the client automatically agrees to these Terms of Service.
2. Commission Process
After placing an order, the client will receive an email containing a link to a google docs form. The form requests:
- Clear reference images
- Additional wishes or preferences
- Specific details (accessories, mood, colors, etc.)
- Agreement to these Terms of Service
The commission will only begin once all required information has been fully submitted. The average turnaround time is 1–3 weeks unless stated otherwise. Besides working as an illustrator, I still work a parttime job which is the reason I have a generous delivery time.
3. Feedback & Revisions
A commission always includes 1 feedbackround. This feedbackround will take place during the sketching fase. During a feedbackround you can request changes to:
- Minor color adjustments
- Small detail refinements
- Minor proportional corrections
This applies to refinements of the existing design only. Major changes or complete redraws are not included.
An additional revision round can be purchased for €10.
4. Delivery
The artwork is delivered digitally (JPEG or PNG) with a simple background, white background and transparent background unless otherwise agreed.
5. Reference Material Submission
Timely submission ofthe google docs form is required.
If the form is not received within 7 days, a first reminder will be sent to the buyer. After 12 days, a final reminder will follow. If the form is not yet received within 14 days of the original order date, the order will be automatically cancelled. In this case, 20% of the purchase amount will be retained to cover administrative and reservation costs. The remaining balance will be refunded via Ko-fi, Stripe or Paypal.
Studio Morilly is not responsible for delays caused by late or missing reference submissions.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Payments are received directly via Ko-fi (PayPal or Stripe). Ko-fi does not issue refunds on behalf of the creator. Any refunds must be processed by Studio Morilly through the Ko-fi dashboard or directly via PayPal or Stripe.
Client Cancellations
Clients may cancel their commission under the following conditions:
Before work has started:
The client will receive a 90% refund of the total purchase amount.
10% will be retained to cover administrative and reservation costs.
During the sketch phase:
75% of the total purchase amount will be refunded.
During the lineart phase:
50% of the total purchase amount will be refunded.
During or after the coloring phase:
Refunds are no longer possible, as the majority of the work has been completed.
Creator Cancellations
Studio Morilly reserves the right to cancel a commission for personal, professional or behavioral reasons.
If Studio Morilly cancels the commission:
- Before work has started: 100% refund
- After work has started: A minimum of 75% refund, depending on the stage of completion
In cases of inappropriate, disrespectful, or boundary-crossing behavior, Studio Morilly reserves the right to immediately terminate the collaboration. In such cases, a partial or full refund may be denied depending on the amount of work already completed.
7. Copyright and usage
All artwork remains the intellectual property of Studio Morilly.
The client receives a personal use license, meaning the artwork may be used for:
- Personal use
- Social media (credit appreciated)
- Personal printing
Commercial use is not permitted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Studio Morilly reserves the right to display the artwork in portfolio and promotional materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
